01.08.2008 – 30.06.2009 – project “Step by step on the way to Tolerance” , “Small grants of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy (Matra/KAP) programme.”
The aim of the project - bringing up tolerant attitude in teenagers aged 13 – 15 towards the disabled, educating teachers the methodology of conducting lessons for teenagers on tolerance involving puppet theatre art and the set of interactive activities.
Results: More than 800 teenagers from 5 schools of the Sovetskiy district of Nizhniy Novgorod took part in activities on the project, 369 of them underwent special trainings on interaction with the disabled. Students of secondary schools along with the disabled teenagers took part in the activity which provided volunteers with valuable experience.
